Meridian’s Jake Chanson on Sustaining Double-Digit Sales Growth, Making Things Easy for Customers, BizTech and More

Meridian, a print and promo distributor based in Illinois, clocked in at No. 10 on our 2019 Fastest Growing Distributors list with close to 44 percent year-over-year promotional products sales growth (and five straight years of double-digit growth). We finally caught up with Jake Chanson, head of business development for Meridian, to find out what’s behind the company’s success.

Jake talked about the cross-selling opportunities print and promotional products offer, incentivizing sales teams and, most importantly, making ease-of-doing-business a top priority. He also discussed the necessity of good customer experience in the post-Amazon landscape, and explained how good ERP, order management and other biztech platforms can drive growth.
